Claim to be an attorny, Foreign accent, had partial social security number

Repeated phone calls from this number and voice mails where nothing is said

This is a premium text message service that I unknowning signed up for thinking it was part of a job site I was using. Verizon is of no help in this issue. According to Verizon the only way to stop this is to text message stop the next time a text is received from this number. Your bill will be charged $9.95 every time you receive this text message. Why Verizon can't block this number from my phone is beyond me. Why there is no one to call to put a stop to this is also beyond me.

Unfortunately for them, Venali,Inc is not to blame for some(maybe none) of these calls. When I had enough of this problem, I began to try to get it stopped. It took a month to investigate, But I found that the number that the faxes were supposed to be going to had been disconnected, lines had gotten crossed, and the faxes were being forwarded to my phone. Venali was a great help, but in the end I had my home PC set up to receive faxes. Of course the faxes show the company names and phone numbers, from and to who, so by contacting them the problem was found and resolved!!!!!! Hope this helps all of you with this problem.

Robo debt collector. Problem is when you pick up, after 5 seconds the computer hangs up. Probably set up more to torment than to get any action. I bet this debt collection agency has to show they are attempting to collect the debt. Once they know the debt holder can't pay, they will robo call them to show the primary debt holder that they are still working on that debt client.

hung up called back and it was the plain dealer sales

This caller keeps calling & never gets past the 1st ring. Once I call back the caller's number is ALWAYS busy. I have no idea who the caller is and I would like to know if I can get some help with stopping this caller from calling me (37 calls in the last 5 days).

Called telling me that I owe over $3,000.00 to some credit card. They said that the last contact w/ me was and now, after I have gone bankrupt (very recently) they are calling about a card, first saying they were collecting a debt for First Financial Holdings, and later saying HSBC. When I called back later, now they say it was turned over to them and they are just getting in touch with me today. Very, Very, Rude representives, or cons, whatever, in this day and age you never know who are speaking with. But our government lets cons get away with all kind of stuff. Companies are allowed to sell your info. to other companies without your knowledge, but yet at times, you are asked to sign off on Hippa Privacy when you see your doctor, what privacy? Thats a joke.
